Furnas Lake is a very special place that offers memorable experiences to anyone: you can take a leisure stroll around its shores, explore the trails nearby, or even take a ride on the "gaivotas" (pedal boats).

It is also in Furnas Lake that the famed Cozido das Furnas is made. It is a slow-cooked stew prepared using the natural geothermal heat. But you don't have to wait six hours to taste it, as you can find it local restaurants.
